Mazhari, M.D., has joined Neurology & Neuroscience Associates' (NNA) medical staff. He has a special interest in neuroimaging, stroke, multiple sclerosis, headaches, clinical research and general neurology. Dr. Mazhari received his B.S. in biology with honors from the University of Michigan, and his M.D. from Wayne State University, Detroit. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Cincinnati and neuroimaging fellowship at DENT Neurological Institute, Buffalo. Dr. Mazhari will draw upon his experience in neuroimaging to help advance the level of care in NNA's Multiple Sclerosis Center, TIA Clinic and Stroke Prevention Center, and he will see patients in all three areas. Dr. Mazhari will collaborate with Hugh J. Miller, M.D., Stroke Team Leader at Akron General Medical Center. In addition, he will see patients at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital and Medina General Hospital. Dr. Mazhari's office is located at NNA's main Akron facility.
