Medina's Ohio Sleep Disorders Center is now accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine MEDINA, OH--Frankie Roman, M.D., has joined Zachary R. Lewton, M.D., and DeAnna Frye, Ph.D., at the Neurology & Neuroscience Associates, Inc. (NNA) Medina office and sleep center, 3985 Medina Road, Suite 200, Medina. A pulmonologist, Dr. Roman is a member of the medical staff of Akron-based Neurology & Neuroscience Associates. He earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, completed residency at Providence Hospital, completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Michigan State University and a fellowship in sleep disorders medicine at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, La Jolla. Dr. Roman, board-certified in sleep medicine since 1992, will serve Medina-area residents with evaluation and comprehensive treatment of sleep disorders. The Medina sleep center is operated by Ohio Sleep Disorders Centers (OSDC), which is managed by NNA. The sleep center provides daytime and nighttime diagnostic sleep studies in comfortable, private, bedroom settings using technologically advanced sleep-study equipment. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine recently accredited OSDC's Medina location as a full-service sleep disorders program. NNA and its board-certified sleep physicians also manage OSDC's other locations in Montrose, Hudson and Green. Dr. Roman is accepting new consultation by appointment. All OSDC sleep centers perform complete outpatient diagnostic sleep studies and generate timely reports.
